In 2007, civil rights activist, Paul Saltzman, returned to Mississippi, decades after a violent run-in with a young Klansman, to talk to the man who injured him.
Prior to the film, Ms. Brownstein will offer a presentation on the legal liability of hate groups for acts committed by individual members and the participation and role of Jews in the Civil Rights movement.

Due to the format of the educational component of this event, the CLE credits can be earned only by attending the entire event - not only the film.

The Society serves as a unique vehicle to promote continuing legal education and to facilitate involvement in professional activities, which benefit the local and global Jewish communities.
Membership in the Cardozo Society is open to all legal professionals and law students in Central Pennsylvania. The Cardozo Society consists of members who contribute a minimum gift of $1,000 to the Annual Campaign. Associate membership is open to those who contribute a minimum of $500 to the Annual Campaign and are under the age of 35.
