The greater Harrisburg Jewish community is the home of many thriving Jewish organizations and facilities, as well as seven diverse congregations.

The Rabbi David L. Silver Yeshiva Academy, located within the Jewish Community Center building, provides a solid Jewish and secular education for students in kindergarten through eighth grades.

Jewish Family Service of Greater Harrisburg, located on the Federation campus, provides a wide variety of social services, ranging from Kosher Meals on Wheels to counseling to adoption.

The Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg and The Residence, both located on Linglestown Road, provide care for senior adults, whether in need of an Assisted Living Facility, skilled nursing care, or rehabilitation services.

Kol Harrisburg, a email listserv created by Dr. Ed Beck, and moderated by Dr. Beck and Dr. Richard Blustein, provides an ongoing flow of information regarding the Harrisburg Jewish community through email, and allows members to post their own email messages to the group.
