What is the schedule of a typical camp day?
Our typical camp day runs from 9am-4pm. We offer Before Camp Care at the Harrisburg JCC from 8am-9am if families opt for transportation. For an additional charge, After Camp Care is available from 4pm-6pm. Each day is different (an adventure!) and consists of time for children to play, build friendships, and learn. What about overnights?
In lieu of overnights, we have opted to take our campers on full-camp field trip adventures in 2024.
Do I need to pack lunch/snacks?
Campers provide their own lunch. JCC Summer Camp will provide an afternoon snack each day. Snacks may include pretzels, graham crackers, popsicles, and ice cream. If your child has any dietary restrictions, we are happy to work with you to provide safe snacks.
What are the fees to attend camp?
Our fee schedule, detailed above in our brochure, is as follows - all prices are weekly:
*A $250 deposit is due for all campers within one week of registration (includes $100 enrollment fee)
Early Bird (available for JCC members until 2/28): $300
JCC Member $350 (after 2/28)
Regular $450
Travel Camp - Add $55/week
Transportation (from and to JCC): $80 (includes Free Before-Camp Care)
Both Transportation and After-Camp Care: $130
What is your refund policy? What if my camper needs to quarantine?
In an effort to be as supportive as possible to our families, your deposit will be refundable (less $50 for processing) until April 15, 2024. After April 15, your deposit is non-refundable, though camp fees will be refunded should you need to cancel. Any changes to a camper’s schedule after May 13 will incur a $40 administrative fee per instance of changes. If the JCC Summer Camp needs to close, full refunds will be issued to affected families. We will work with families that need to reschedule their camp experience due to COVID-19 quarantine on a case-by-case basis.
