On August 7th, 2015 from 9:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg will be sponsoring the 3rd annual International Young Leaders Conference at Harrisburg University. The theme of the conference will be Global Health in the 21st century. Speakers from the central Pennsylvania area and the surrounding regions will be discussing different topics related to global health. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rachel Levine, Physician General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Some of the panelists and speakers will be Dr. Benjamin Fredrick, Director of the Global Health Center of Penn State Hershey Medical Center; Dr. Mehdi Noorbaksh, International Affairs Professor at Harrisburg University and Dr. Oralia Garcia Dominic, with Highmark. During the conference, there will be a career fair for attendees to learn about the careers of today and the future. The conference is being held for high school and college students and will be free. Lunch will be provided for students in attendance.
