WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER
Coping with Stress and Anxiety in a Challenging Time

Temple Ohev Sholom Sisterhood, in conjunction with Jewish Family Service of Greater Harrisburg and Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg, will hold a virtual conversation open to the entire community on handling stress and anxiety in an era when we face COVID-19 and other national challenges.
The event will take place on June 24 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Malinda Myers, director of Mynd Works Counseling Services, and other staff at Jewish Family Services will offer helpful strategies for coping during this particularly stressful time for members of all ages in our community.  Participants will be requested to submit questions in advance.

A recent study by the Kaiser Foundation shows that about half of adults feel the pandemic is impacting their mental health. One in five says it’s already had a major impact. Children, of course, also are feeling the effects.

“Everyone is dealing with some form of stress about the coronavirus and the unrest in our nation,” said Reyna Jose, Ohev Sholom’s Sisterhood President. “We thought it would be helpful for people to hear from the great counselors at JFS.”

Space is limited. If you are interested in attending, register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0tce-prD8oHdSp-u5YD6uhJ7mOyEaJ-YGY. You will receive instructions on joining the Zoom program. You can also submit questions for Malinda to answer during the event
