Grass Campus Community Open House

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Check-in begins at 1pm - Follow signage to our registration table for giveaways, event information, and more!

Beginning at 1pm - Refreshments served in Phyllis Berman Sisterhood Hall (1st Floor Grass Center Admin Building)

2pm - Welcome Ceremony - Hear from key Grass Campus figures and special guests in the Grass Campus Board Room (1st Floor Grass Center Admin Building)

2:45pm - Guided Tour of the Grass Campus - meeting in the Grass Campus lobby

3pm - Bingo with Senior Adult Club - held in Mary Sachs Memorial Hall (1st Floor Richards Hall)

EVENT INFORMATION

Our event will feature many of the organizations and people that make the Grass Campus a special place, including:

  • Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg - the primary programming, fundraising, and advocacy arm of the Jewish community

  • Symons Family Fitness Center - a brand-new wellness facility featuring cardio & strength equipment, group fitness, and personal trainers

  • JCC programming - including Senior adult programming, youth sports, teen enrichment, cultural programming and holiday events, and much more

  • Brenner Family Early Learning Center - an early learning facility serving families with children from 6 weeks through Pre-K

  • Jewish Family Service - a social services agency offering counseling services, adoption & foster care services, resettlement programs, and a large food pantry

  • The Silver Academy - a K - 8 Jewish Day School

PLUS: Here are a few other friends who will join us and activities that attendees can take part in:

  • PJ Library - offering free Jewish books to kids 
  • Kol Haneshama - Harrisburg's Jewish chorus will perform
  • Federation Shinshiniot (Israeli year-of-service teens) will be on hand for face painting and other fun activities
  • Mary Sachs Charitable Trust will host an exhibit in Richards Hall
  • Children's activities (bounce-houses, weather permitting)

Parking is available in our secure, underground parking garage (entrance on 2nd street), in the lot behind Duncan Hall (entrance on Green Street), auxiliary parking lots across campus, and street parking.
