Kesher Israel Congregation is bringing in Rabbi Shalom Hammer, whose grandparents used to live in Harrisburg, in memory of Philip Schulder's first yahrtzeit, for a weekend focused on the themes of destruction, redemption and the modern state of Israel. Rabbi Hammer will show the video  “The Long Way Home” followed by a lecture entitled “Israel’s Struggle for Survival and Vision of Continuity.”
