Parkinson's Unified Neuromuscular Conditioning and Health Program (P.U.N.C.H.)

 

A five-day-a-week fitness program serving the minds, bodies, and souls of those living with Parkinson's disease at the Symons Family Fitness Center and Grass Campus.

Parkinson's Unified Neuromuscular Conditioning and Health Program (P.U.N.C.H.) is a comprehensive wellness program for community members (and their loved ones and care partners) living with Parkinson's Disease. The program is available through JCC membership and includes classes and activities like:

 

  • Boxing classes (Rock Steady Boxing)
  • Pedaling for Parkinson's classes (cycling program)
  • Parkinson's Power and Flex classes
  • A care partner's program, in partnership with American Parkinson's Disease Association, featuring an eight-week educational series to help care partners to better care for their loved ones and themselves
  • An art program for people diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and their care partners
  • on-campus support groups
  • and more to come

 

Other support services and therapies that will be available include specialized Personal Training, Red Light Therapy, Assisted Stretching, Massage Therapy, and Reflexology (additional fees apply).
