Alyce Grunberg Spector

Mom’s house is full of everything delicious and beautiful. Her flower garden is gorgeous and her paintings are lovely. She inspired and encouraged each of us to seek higher education in architecture, business, computer science, and journalism. She founded the Kidney Foundation of Central PA and the Tolerance Program mandated for Harrisburg Public Schools. She was President of Yeshiva Academy P.T.A., Women’s Division of the United Jewish Appeal, Israel Bonds, Mental Health Association of Central PA, Beth El Temple Sisterhood, Harrisburg Bridge Club. Board Member of: YWCA, Susquehanna Art Museum, Hadassah, Dauphin County Historical Society, Beth El Temple. Served on National Boards; National Board Kidney Foundation, United Jewish Appeal, Israel Bonds. Presently serves on the Presidents Leadership Council, Elizabethtown College. She loves working with and for the welfare of people. Her love for Judaism and Israel is profound. She always says, “Be good and do good and you will reap the greatest harvest- a good life.” Our very best love from your children and grandchildren who appreciate everything you do for us. Our Mom lives a life worth living.
