S. Robert Grass

The greatest legacy I could pass on to my children is one filled with a strong commitment to the Jewish community. Upon moving to Harrisburg in 1970, Rosalie and I embarked on a path of tikkun olam. Our volunteerism inspired us to instill our children Gayle, Ronald, and Julie with a desire to serve their community. With the support of my family and the Jewish community, I defined my legacy with some of my greatest accomplishments; my tenure as Vice President of Temple Ohev Sholom, the establishment of the Jewish Group Home, co-chair of the UJCA, and my term as President of the United Jewish Federation, during which I was instrumental in establishing the Community Endowment Foundation.
