We hope this message finds you safe and healthy.

It is with great disappointment that I share the news that Green Hills Swim Club will not open for the 2020 season. Please know that this decision was not taken lightly, and our leadership team factored in everything from finances to sanitation to staffing considerations and especially its impact on you, our valued and appreciated members.

Opening Green Hills this year would have been prohibitively expensive, especially given the financial losses we have already sustained because of COVID-19. Green Hills is always a very expensive operation; it is the income received from the JCC Summer Camp that is held at the facility that allows it to be financially viable. For a variety of health-related hurdles and operational concerns, we are providing alternative summer programming at the JCC, and thus cannot afford the additional expenses.

As we diligently prepare to open our facilities again fully in the future, we genuinely appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to being together both virtually and in person in the coming months. Thank you for being part of our JCC family.
